We are very happy to announce that the 8th International Conference on NVR in 2025 will take place in Amsterdam.
Title of the congress: “The courage of Connecting Authority & Non Violent Resistance: how to attach ànd resist”
Dates:
Thursday 3rd of April 2025: 1 or 2 pre-conference masterclass(es), afternoon only (2 – 5 PM)
Friday and Saturday 4th and 5th of April: 2 days conference (9 AM – 5 PM)

We found a beautiful venue: the Royal Tropical Institute in the centre of Amsterdam.
It perfectly suits our mission. We have a lot in common, which might be illustrated by the title of a recent blog of the CEO of this institute: “To transform the world, we need to start with ourselves.”
Based at a national heritage site, KIT Royal Tropical Institute is an independent centre of expertise, education and hospitality, dedicated to sustainable development. The building has opened its doors almost 100 years ago (1926) and is still considered as one of the icons of Amsterdam. By organising an event with them, we are also taking steps to support social entrepreneurship: their profits go directly towards the benefit of their knowledge and development projects, aimed at creating a sustainable future worldwide.
